Great News for the 2025-2026 School Year!

All West New York Public School Students Eat at No Cost to Families!

We are excited to announce that for the 2025-2026 school year, all West New York Schools students may receive 1 breakfast and 1 lunch meal at school every day, completely FREE of charge, regardless of family income.

No application is required to receive free meals.

All students that do not qualify for meals through being Directly Certified through participation in federal assistance programs must fill out the School Meals and Summer EBT Application In order for eligibility to be determined for Summer EBT benefits. The application is available on the West New York Schools Website at WNY School District Meal & Summer EBT Application and will also be distributed in schools during the first week of school.

By filling out the application, you could receive:

Discounted Internet Service: Receive significant discounts on your monthly home internet bill through federal programs.
Waived College Application Fees: Many colleges and universities waive application fees for eligible students, saving you hundreds of dollars.
FREE or Reduced AP Exam Fees: Students can have the fees for Advanced Placement (AP) exams and some college entrance exams (like the SAT and ACT) reduced or completely waived.

The data gathered from this form can qualify students for additional benefits and allows the district to continue to receive critical state and federal funding. What process does West New York use to complete a lunch application?

School Breakfast

The West New York School District understands the importance of starting our students' days with a nutritious breakfast. Therefore, all students may choose to receive breakfast at no charge for 2025-2026 school year.

Breakfast will be served in the classroom to all elementary students beginning during homeroom at 8:42 and ending at the end of period 1 at 9:37. Breakfast is served before school at Memorial High School before school Starting at 7:00 and ending at 7:30 A Second chance breakfast is available in the cafeteria From 7:52 -10:45. Breakfast is served before school at The West New York Middle School starting before School at 7:30 and ending at 8:05. A Second Chance Breakfast is available from 8:21-10:28.
