A Vision for Our Students, A Recognition of Excellence

I am incredibly proud to announce that the Memorial High School STEAM Academy has been named a recipient of the 2026 School Leader Award by the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) for its innovative program, "From Concept to Prototype."

This distinguished statewide recognition represents much more than an award. It recognizes and celebrates the innovation, collaboration, and dedication of our district team and it’s one-of-a-kind program.

This accomplishment is a testament to what can be achieved when dedicated educators and talented students come together with a shared commitment to excellence. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our STSEAM Academy students, teachers, administrators, district leadership and everyone whose dedication has helped make this program such an extraordinary success.

I also want to recognize the continued support of our Board of Education, whose commitment to educational advancement allows us to pursue opportunities that enrich the lives and futures of our students.

This award reinforces what we believe in West New York: our students deserve opportunities without limits, and education that inspires innovation, and the tools to turn their aspirations into achievements.

We are proud of how far we have come, but even more excited about what lies ahead.

Congratulations to the Memorial High School STEAM Academy on this well-deserved recognition!
