Welcome to Public School # 4

Principal's Message

It is with great pride that I introduce myself as the new principal of Public School Four.  It will be a privilege to serve the students, parents, faculty, and staff in providing an excellent, stimulating learning environment, in a safe secure school setting.   

It is our belief that student achievement is the ultimate goal of our collaborative effort.  The administration and staff are committed to do “whatever it takes” to ensure that each child meets with academic and social success.  We believe that this goal can be accomplished by building and maintaining strong partnerships with our school family: the staff, students, parents and our community.  

We hope that went parents, guardians, and grandparents walk through the doors of Public  School  Four they will feel welcomed and proud to be part of our school family.   

Because we leave “no child behind” Public School #4 offers opportunities for every child to learn.  Curriculum programs include Bilingual, Special Education, Speech Therapy, Basic Skills, Limited English Proficient, Gifted and Talented, World Language, Instrumental Music, Technology, and more.  Extended day programs are also available for select grade levels in the three major content areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.  Our population is diversified and multicultural, but when the students come together as an academic group, they are expected to demonstrate respect for themselves as well as for others. 

If we continue to work together, our students, your child/children will be healthy physically as well as socially, emotionally, and academically.  Together we will prepare them to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and effective communicators.
