Thanksgiving relay race
The students and
Public School No.2 did their exercising before the big Thanksgiving
Day feast. As part of the day’s events on Wednesday, Nov. 26, the
students had a Thanksgiving relay race during gym class. They each
had to bring dinner table items to the other end of the gym and
arrange them properly in order to win the race.
During this
Thanksgiving celebration event everyone came out a winner!

Giving thanks at P.S. 2
In honor of
Thanksgiving, Public School No.2 will be hosting a variety of
activities on Wednesday, November 26, starting off with a
Thanksgiving feast for kindergarten to the third grades courtesy of
Boston Market.
First and
second graders will also be making Native American Horse Masks in
art class, which will be on display through the holiday. The school
librarian will also be reading Thanksgiving stories with all of the
classes, and will be bringing cranberries for the kindergarten
classes to taste.
