On behalf of our dedicated faculty and support staff, I am pleased
to welcome you to PS#1. Our staff is committed to providing a
caring, supportive, and academically challenging education for our
early learners. Our faculty works tirelessly to provide a relevant
and enjoyable educational program for the children with focus on
meeting their social, emotional and academic needs. Public School
#1 is a great place for learning, thanks to the partnership between
home and school. We believe that in order to achieve we need
frequent communication between parents and teachers. Through our
open door policy and our advancement in technology we can reach this
goal.
Our Board of Education along with
their administration contributes greatly to all our programs and
ultimately it is our students who benefit from our community, parent
and teacher involvement. We have established a culture and climate
that reflects strong family and community values and we will
continue to strive on those ideals.
