Revised Uniform Policy 2010
Beginning in September 2010, all students in
grades (9-12) will be required to follow the revised Memorial High
School uniform policy. The policy is as follows:
Uniform Requirements:
v
Shirts/tops (short and long sleeve styles) will be
SOLID BLACK in color and must have the official Memorial High
School insignia.
v
Pants/bottoms (shorts, skirts, slacks or chinos,
etc.) must be Khaki ONLY and conform to current policy on length
and proper fit. Jeans (denim), sweat pants and bottoms
of any color other than khaki are not
considered part of the uniform at any time.

2010, todos los grados del noveno (9no) al decimosegundo (12) serán
requeridos a seguir el reglamento de uniformes escolares. La
política de las regulaciones de uniformes escolares será la
siguiente:
REQUISITOS PARA LOS UNIFORMES:

cortas y mangas largas) serán DE COLOR
NEGRO SÓLIDO y tendrán la insignia oficial de la Escuela Secundaria
de Memorial.

Los pantalones/faldas (pantalones
cortos, faldas, pantalones largos, o “chinos”, etc.) tendrán que ser
de caqui SOLAMENTE y conforme a las normas de la actualidad para el
largo y la hechura apropiada. Los pantalones de dril “jean”, los
pantalones de sudadera y pantalones de otro color que no sea caqui no serán considerados como parte del
uniforme.

Incoming 10th Grade Honors: "A Farewell to Arms" by Ernest Hemingway
Incoming 11th Grade Honors: "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini
Incoming 12th Grade Shakespeare Honors: "Hamlet" by William
Shakespeare
Students entering AP Language or Literature should see Mrs. Schnur
on their requirements before they leave for summer vacation.
Note: Students should make every effort to meet with their teacher
before Friday, June 25th in order to receive a copy of their book.
Those unable to attend can borrow a copy from the WNY Public
Library during the summer.
