Underwater Explorers Fourth Graders of Room 215 will use the laptops to research stories they read in their McGraw-Hill Reading Textbook and the unit of study of water in their Discover the Wonder Science Textbook. All students will use the laptops to research the origins of the words Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic, and ocean. All students will write and present as storytellers how the various oceans got their names, report on the light zone and the dark zone of the ocean as well as coral reefs. All students will create a "Submersible Log" and use the Inspiration program to create graphic organizers to complete a booklet showing interesting examples of marine life. |
